The statements below describe the general nature of the work being performed by the Sales Executive and are not a complete list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required. The Sales Executive may perform other duties as assigned. The Sales Executive is expected to abide by and enforce the policies and procedures, including regular and prompt attendance, production requirements, timely and efficient completion of tasks and responsibilities, as well as promoting teamwork and cooperative effort.

The Sales Executive is responsible for Revenue Growth. To accomplish these expectations, the Sales Executive:

э э Grows revenue and tonnage of LTL & TRUCKLOAD FREIGHT.

э э Develops new business through prospecting, sales leads, cold calling, telemarketing, etc.

э э Responsible for complete sales cycle process including qualification, presentation, on boarding, and follow-up customer service and retention.

э э Negotiates rates and terms of agreement

э э Full territory management including call cycle, freight profile, using a geo-planner, account and lane analysis, etc.

э э Works with operations and customer service for problem resolution and communication

Minimum Job Requirements (Education/Experience/Skills)

э э Previous LTL & TRUCKLOAD Sales experience required

э э Cold chain experience preferred but not required

э э Excellent verbal and written communication skills

э э Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

э э Must be able to develop and make presentations in front of a group

э э Computer literacy with software internal and external such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
